In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Adrian Mibus, the gallery's founding director will be sharing his encyclopedic knowledge in a series of newsletters reflecting on the chronological evolution of his business from Orientalism and Symbolism, to Belgian Luminism, Post-Impressionism and Expressionism, passing via Modernism and École de Paris, towards Pop Art and Post-War Abstraction.
This evolution reflects Adrian's ongoing commitment to adapting to the modern art market whilst maintaining its deep-rooted heritage.

In this fourth newsletter we are highlighting Adrian's love of traditional Belgian painting which he promoted in two landmark exhibitions: A Clear View, The Belgian Luminist Tradition in 1987 and Belgian Paintings 1880 - 1930 in 1990. Adrian's activity in the field of Belgian Luminism and Post-Impressionism during 1983-1993, was the first attempt to highlight the quality of the Belgian painters on the international London art market.
